About this wine
A pétillant naturel orange wine from Calcarius made from Bombino Bianco with extended skin contact, sparkling and amber-hued, from the calcareous limestone soils of Puglia that give every Calcarius wine its mineral character.
How it tastes
Serve well chilled at 8 to 10°C. Open carefully.
Tasting notes
Amber-tinged with fine natural bubbles. Bombino Bianco is one of Puglia's most planted but least celebrated white varieties. Valentina Passalacqua gives it the skin contact and pét-nat treatment that reveals its mineral depth and citrus freshness. Dry, lively, textural, and refreshing. The Frecciabomb (lightning bolt) name fits.
Goes with
Aperitif, grilled seafood, soft cheeses, and light antipasti.

The estate name comes from the Latin for limestone, reflecting the character of the terroir in every wine.
