About this wine
Château Marjosse belongs to Pierre Lurton, who also runs Cheval Blanc and Château d'Yquem. It is his own estate rather than one he manages for someone else, which is part of why an Entre-Deux-Mers punches this far above its appellation.

Tasting notes
Pale lemon yellow with green highlights. A lively bouquet of citrus fruit, white peach and hints of fresh-cut grass and elderflower. Crisp and refreshing on the palate with lemon zest, green apple and a touch of minerality. Bright acidity and a clean, dry finish. Entre-Deux-Mers means between two seas, though the seas in question are the Garonne and the Dordogne, and the region is Bordeaux's dry white heartland.

Oysters and shellfish, grilled white fish, sushi, citrus salads, goat's cheese, and Mediterranean mezze.
