About this wine
A high-altitude Garnacha from the granite and schist soils of the Sierra de Gredos, where Bodega Cristo del Humilladero produce wines of floral freshness and mineral precision from old vine parcels at 750 to 900 metres above sea level.
Serve at 14 to 16°C, or slightly chilled at 12°C for an even more refreshing experience.
Tasting notes
Pale ruby-red. A floral nose of red fruit, cherry, and a gentle salty, mineral kick that is unmistakably Gredos. The palate is delicate and elegant, with good natural acidity, a light earthy depth, and a clean, mineral finish. The Gre2 cuvee is about freshness and terroir expression, not weight.
