Cedar Green is one of three colours in Masterpiece, the handmade porcelain vessel that is Arak Blanka's first and most prestigious release. The green takes its name from the cedar, the tree on Lebanon's flag and the country's oldest symbol. Inside is the premium artisanal arak the Bejjani family has made for three generations at ETS. Distillery, fermented from Merwah and Obeidi grapes, flavoured with Heena aniseed, distilled through authentic copper stills, then aged and matured in specialised jars for extra complexity. Each vessel is unique, and made to be kept long after the arak is finished.
Tasting Notes
Crystal clear, louching to milk white as water is added. Clean, precise aniseed with the softer and rounder character Heena seed brings, sitting over a base of Merwah and Obeidi grape spirit that gives weight without any burn. The time in jar adds depth and roundness through the middle, finishing long and warm with liquorice that lingers.

Serving
Traditionally poured one part arak to two parts water, then ice added last so the ice never touches neat spirit. Serve in small glasses, a fresh one with each pour, alongside mezze.
