Bordeaux rosé is made from the same red grapes as the region's famous reds, bled off the skins early. It is one of the least fashionable and best value pink wines in France.
Tasting Notes
A clear strawberry pink robe. Fresh, fine aromas of strawberry, redcurrant, violet, mulberry and a hint of citrus. Dry and crisp on the palate with bright acidity, a subtle tannic grip and a clean, refreshing finish, the fruit character of redcurrant and berries lingering pleasantly. The faint grip is the Cabernet showing through, and it makes this better with food than most rosé.
