A Sicilian rosé split evenly between Syrah and Nero d'Avola, the island's own great red grape. Planeta describe the colour as that of a summer sunset, which is about right.
Tasting Notes
Fresh and fruity, the colour of a summer sunset. Fresh aromas of strawberry make it a marvellously friendly wine and easy to drink. Nero d'Avola gives the red fruit and the warmth, Syrah adds a peppery lift, and the result is a rosé with more character than the pale Provençal style but the same easy drinkability.
