Tasting notes
Pale gold with good clarity. The nose is vibrant and aromatic with aromas of bright citrus, white peach, Mediterranean herbs, and a distinctive salty, almond note. On the palate it is dry and refreshing, with lively acidity, a pleasant textural grip, and a clean, saline finish. A quintessential Vermentino.
Goes with
A classic match for grilled fish, seafood, summer salads, grilled vegetables, and light pasta dishes. Perfect as a refreshing aperitif too.

The producer
Antonio Camillo spent 25 years working as a winemaker for other estates in the Maremma before venturing out on his own in 2006. He works 9 hectares of hillside vineyards near Capalbio, farming organically and exclusively with native Tuscan varieties including Vermentino, Sangiovese, and Ciliegiolo, on old vines aged between 40 and 50 years. In the cellar, he uses almost exclusively cement containers to let the flavour of the grape come through unaltered, intervening as little as possible. His wines are a genuine expression of southern Tuscany's wild, coastal landscape.
