A red blend from Intellego in the Swartland, named after a surf break in Bali, Syrah, Cinsault, and Mourvedre from dry-farmed decomposed granite soils, whole-bunch fermented under semi-carbonic conditions and aged in old barrels.

Tasting notes
Dark berries and herbs lead on the nose with a spiced kick that builds on the back palate. The semi-carbonic fermentation gives it a particular freshness and lift despite its full-flavoured character. The blend of varieties adds complexity, with Syrah providing structure, Cinsault freshness, and Mourvedre the herbal depth. A wine with real energy.
Goes with
Grilled fish, cheese, roast chicken, and light salads. Surprisingly versatile for a red of this character.
