Les Émirs is the Cabernet-led flagship of Château St. Thomas, grown between the Mount Lebanon and Anti-Lebanon ranges at up to 1,200 metres, and named for the princes who once governed these mountains.
Tasting Notes
Deep, thick ruby red with garnet undertones. A complex bouquet of black and red cherry, plum, vanilla, spice and a touch of liquorice. Full bodied, persistent and well structured on the palate, with elegant, firm tannins and a richly textured finish. Twelve months in oak barrels followed by further time in bottle. Noble and sophisticated in character, and the wine that best shows what the Bekaa can do with Cabernet Sauvignon.

Serving
Serve at 16 to 18°C. Decant thirty minutes before pouring.
About the Producer
Château St. Thomas is a family estate in Lebanon's Bekaa Valley, founded in the early 1990s by Saïd Touma and now run by his son Joe-Assaad alongside Nadia, Nathalie, Claudine and Micheline. The estate works with international varieties and with rare indigenous Lebanese grapes such as Obeidy, and takes part in the Wine Mosaic initiative to preserve Mediterranean native varieties.
