Heya Kanz from the Batroun mountains of Lebanon — a lively natural red of Grenache and Syrah made with whole-cluster carbonic maceration and aged in clay amphoras, bright ruby-red with red plum, cherry, dried flower, and white pepper on the nose, juicy and medium-bodied with chalky minerality, gentle tannins, and a spicy-fresh finish from Lebanon's first female-led natural wine project.
Tasting Notes
Bright ruby-red with a slight hazy texture. Red plum, cherry, dried flower, and a touch of white pepper spice on the nose. Juicy and medium-bodied on the palate with vibrant red fruits, chalky minerality, gentle tannins, and a spicy-fresh finish. Best served lightly chilled. Made via whole-cluster carbonic maceration and aged in amphoras — two techniques that amplify freshness and texture.
