Corte Giara Recioto della Valpolicella from the Veneto, ruby red with an intense nose of ripe red fruit and aromatic herbs, rich and succulent on the palate with sweetness lifted and kept fresh by crisp acidity, finishing long and balanced, from the historic sweet wine of Valpolicella produced by drying grapes for around four months.

Tasting notes
Ruby red. Intense nose bursting with ripe red fruit and aromatic herbs. Rich and succulent on the palate, its sweetness lifted and kept fresh by crisp acidity. Finishes long and balanced. Recioto is the historic sweet wine of Valpolicella, produced by drying the grapes for around four months before a slow, partial fermentation. It is the ancestor of Amarone, where Recioto stops fermentation to retain sweetness, Amarone ferments to dryness.
