Württemberg's most beloved indigenous grape at its finest, made by Andi Knauss from old vine Trollinger on marly soils in Strümpfelbach with indigenous yeast and zero intervention, producing a light, savory, and utterly refreshing red.
Tasting Notes
Light ruby red in the glass. The nose is fresh and pure with aromas of bright red cherry, wild strawberry, and a light earthy, herbal note. On the palate it is light bodied, juicy, and energetic, with good acidity and just enough tannin to give it structure. Think Beaujolais energy with a distinctly German minerality. A wine for chilling and drinking freely.
