A near-zero-sulphur Barbera from the Murge hills of Piedmont, made by Agricola Gaia using concrete vats and ambient yeasts, and fermented with 70% destemmed and 30% whole bunches for a wine of real freshness and depth.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby with violet reflections. Soft on the nose with honey, ripe red fruits, and a lifted floral note. Ample and long on the palate with intense red fruit character and a fresh acidity that keeps it lively. Clean, direct, and characterful — Barbera without the fuss.
