A naturally farmed Rosso Piceno from the Marche, blending Sangiovese and Montepulciano from organic old vine parcels, made by the same pioneering estate that produces the outstanding Le Oche Verdicchio with the same low-intervention philosophy.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby red in the glass. The nose is expressive and warm with aromas of ripe dark cherry, plum, wild herbs, and a light earthy, mineral note typical of the Marche. On the palate it is medium to full bodied with a firm tannin from the Montepulciano, good natural acidity, and a long, savoury finish. A solid, honest red from one of central Italy's most interesting appellations.
