Tasting notes
Rich yet fresh with white peach and floral characters on the nose. Elegant but intense on the finish, with fresh fruit and a complementary mineral freshness from the Garzón terroir. Viognier in Uruguay produces a more restrained, mineral expression than the heavier Rhône versions, the sustainable hillside farming and the ocean influence from the nearby Atlantic give it a freshness that's rare for the variety.
Goes with
Pasta, mild cheese, and shellfish.
