A skin-contact Chenin Blanc from Intellego in the Swartland, destemmed and fermented on the skins for 13 days in open tanks then aged 10 months in old 500-litre barrels — named for the four natural elements, made with zero intervention.
Tasting Notes
Amber-gold with natural haze. The extended 13-day skin contact gives it real texture and grip alongside the Chenin's characteristic stone fruit and quince character. Earthy and mineral on the palate from the decomposed granite soils, with a long, dry, savoury finish. One of the most structured Chenin Blancs in the Intellego range — contemplative rather than immediately easy.
