A Negroamaro from Valentina Passalacqua's Calcarius estate in Puglia — the Nù Litr (one litre) format delivering a litre of honest, natural southern Italian red at a price that makes it the ultimate everyday table wine from one of Puglia's most exciting natural producers.
Tasting Notes
Negroamaro at its most direct and honest — dark cherry, earthy mineral depth, and the characteristic slightly bitter finish that makes the grape so food-friendly. Light enough to drink throughout a meal, structured enough to hold its own alongside robust Puglian cooking. The 1-litre bottle is a declaration of intent: this is a wine for the table, not the shelf.

About the Producer
Calcarius is the natural wine project of Valentina Passalacqua, made from organic Falanghina, Nero di Troia, Bombino Bianco, and other indigenous varieties grown on the ancient calcareous limestone soils of the Murge plateau in northern Puglia. The estate name comes from the Latin for limestone, reflecting the character of the terroir in every wine.
