Description

A Barolo DOCG from Gianluca Viberti's 460 Casina Bric estate in Serralunga d'Alba, made from 100% Nebbiolo harvested from high-altitude vineyards at 420 to 500 metres, traditionally long-macerated and aged 18 to 24 months in large oak casks — power balanced by finesse.

Tasting Notes
Clear translucent ruby red. The nose is expressive with cherry, plum, dried flowers, tobacco, leather, and subtle balsamic notes — the classic Barolo perfume from Serralunga d'Alba's notably firm soils. Medium-full-bodied with lively acidity and polished tannins that carry flavours of ripe red and dark fruit, spice, cocoa, and earthy minerals into a long, savoury finish. The high-altitude fruit adds freshness that prevents the weight from ever becoming heavy.
