A characterful Côtes du Rhône from Les Vignerons d'Estezargues, a small cooperative near Nîmes where all farming is organic and all wines are made by traditional maceration in concrete cuves without filtration.
Tasting Notes
Ripe red and dark fruit on the nose with the classic garrigue and pepper notes of southern Rhône. Lovely softness in the mouth, with velvety tannins and confit fruit building across the palate, plus hints of tobacco, leather, and a spine of fresh acidity from the Syrah component. Bottled unfiltered for extra depth.
