A blend of Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera from Natalino Del Prete's Salento vineyards, fermented in cement with zero additions, combining the tannic structure and dark fruit of Negroamaro with the floral aromatic lift that Malvasia Nera provides.
Tasting Notes
Deep ruby red. The nose opens with dark cherry, plum, dried violet, and a delicate floral note from the Malvasia Nera. On the palate it is full and generous, with the firm Negroamaro tannin softened by the aromatic grape variety, good natural acidity, and a long, savoury Puglian finish. An honest expression of two of the Salento's most characterful indigenous varieties.

About the Producer
Natalino Del Prete is a small organic estate in Puglia's Gioia del Colle and Salento zones, farming without chemicals on the region's distinctive limestone and clay soils. Best known for his Primitivo, Natalino has quietly built a range of indigenous white and red varieties vinified with absolute minimal intervention that are among the most honest and expressive wines in southern Italy.
