A natural Xinomavro from Kamara Pure in northern Greece, made by winemaker Valentina Passalacqua from organically farmed vines in Naoussa, producing a wine of dark ruby intensity, red fruit complexity, and the tannic structure that makes Xinomavro one of Greece's most age-worthy indigenous varieties.
Tasting Notes
Rich dark red in the glass. The nose is complex and aromatic with red and black cherry, dried tomato, violet, and a distinctive herbal, mineral depth. On the palate it is full-bodied with firm, grippy tannins, high natural acidity, and a long, savoury finish. For lovers of Nebbiolo and Barolo, Xinomavro is the natural next step — same structural profile, different landscape.
