Vega Sicilia Alion

Alion is the modern expression of Vega Sicilia in Ribera del Duero — 100% Tempranillo aged in French oak, with jammy black plum and berry aromas, a whiff of milk chocolate, and a saturated, plump palate of blackberry, blueberry, cassis, chocolate, and licorice on the finish.

Tasting Notes
Jammy black plum and berry aromas with an oaky note of milk chocolate. Saturated and plump on the palate with blackberry, blueberry, and cassis flavours. Chocolate and licorice notes show on the woody finish. Alion was created as Vega Sicilia's more modern, accessible expression — aged entirely in French oak for a rounder, fruitier profile than the legendary Único.
