Description

A Cabernet Sauvignon from Domaine de la Zouina near Meknes in Morocco, made from biodynamically farmed vines at altitude in the Middle Atlas foothills — powerful and heady with firm tannins, dark fruit, garrigue, and ripe pepper, aged in oak and bottled unfiltered.

Tasting Notes
Deep garnet with ruby highlights. The nose brings the warmth of Morocco into the glass: black fruit character typical of Cabernet Sauvignon lifted by garrigue, ripe red pepper, and a Mediterranean scrub note you don't find in French or South American examples. The palate is powerful with firm tannins that gradually soften to reveal ripe berries, vanilla, and a chocolate depth from oak ageing. A genuinely compelling wine from an unexpected country.
