About this wine
A Fleurie from old vine Gamay in Beaujolais, light and silky with vibrant red fruit and that unmistakable floral lift that makes Fleurie the most elegant cru in the region.
This is one of the rare reds that genuinely improves with a few minutes in the fridge.
Tasting notes
Bright ruby red in the glass. The nose is beautifully perfumed with aromas of fresh red cherry, raspberry, violet, and a delicate floral lift typical of old vine Gamay from the Fleurie cru. On the palate it is light to medium bodied, silky, and juicy with good natural acidity and a clean, refreshing finish. Beaujolais at its most seductive.
Goes with
Excellent with charcuterie, roast chicken, grilled salmon, light pasta dishes, and soft cheeses. Also outstanding on its own slightly chilled.
