A dry Negroamaro rosato from Natalino Del Prete in the Salento, made with a short skin contact maceration and fermented in cement without temperature control, producing a wine of vivid salmon-pink colour, fresh red berry fruit, and that distinctive Negroamaro bite on the finish.
Tasting Notes
Vivid salmon-pink. The nose is fresh and fruit-forward with cherry, wild strawberry, and a light floral note. On the palate it is dry and refreshing with good natural acidity, a pleasant texture, and the characteristic slightly bitter finish that makes Negroamaro such a versatile food wine even in its rosé form. Not a pale, delicate rosé — this has conviction.
