Judith Beck Blaufrankisch from Burgenland, Austria — structured and full of character with floral notes and very good acidity, a natural wine from Austria's most celebrated indigenous red variety made with no additions, no fining, and no filtration on Judith Beck's certified biodynamic estate in Gols.
Tasting Notes
Structured and full of character with floral aromatics and very good natural acidity. Blaufrankisch is Austria's finest indigenous red variety — producing wines of real depth, spice, and minerality from the limestone and sandy-loam soils of Burgenland. Judith Beck's version is made with zero intervention, aged 10 months in used barriques after 3 weeks of maceration. Storable, alive, and energetic.
