Impérial takes its name from Napoleon, who was a friend of Jean-Rémy Moët and a regular visitor to the house at Épernay. It remains the most widely recognised Champagne in the world.
Tasting Notes
Bright golden with vibrant, fine bubbles. Apple, citrus, white flowers, brioche and almond. Clean and harmonious on the palate with orchard fruit, citrus freshness and subtle toasty notes, closing smooth and balanced. Moët's scale means it draws on a very large number of villages across Champagne, and the house style is built on consistency from one year to the next rather than on the character of any single harvest.

About the Producer
Moët & Chandon was founded at Épernay in 1743 by Claude Moët and is the largest Champagne house in the world. Its cellars run for close to thirty kilometres beneath the town. The Impérial name dates from the house's relationship with Napoleon, and the estate also produces the prestige cuvée Dom Pérignon.
