Description

The cooperative blend from Valli Unite in the Tortona Hills, combining Barbera, Dolcetto, and Croatina from organically farmed old vines with spontaneous fermentation in steel — energetic, juicy, and fresh, with ripe cherry and a light smoky note on the finish.

Tasting Notes
Energetic, fresh, and juicy with ripe cherry and smoke on the nose before a fruit-laden palate with hints of smoke and game. The three varieties complement each other perfectly: Barbera's acidity and red fruit, Dolcetto's gentle bitterness, and Croatina's tannic structure. The Alessandrino is the cooperative's everyday red — honest, direct, and built for the table.

About the Producer
Valli Unite is a cooperative of 35 producers founded in 1981 in the Tortona Hills of Piedmont, farming 100 hectares across 35 members with a shared commitment to organic viticulture and natural winemaking. Since converting to organic methods in 2006 and adopting spontaneous fermentation in 2013, they have become one of northern Italy's most respected natural wine estates. The cooperative model means the wines reflect a genuine community effort rather than a single winemaker's vision.
