A lightly handled Languedoc Chardonnay from Moulin de Gassac, sourced from selected parcels along the shores of the Thau lagoon near Pinet, where the Mediterranean Sea influence produces wines of remarkable freshness and restraint.
Tasting Notes
Pale lemon-gold with a gently fragrant nose of stone fruit and tree blossom. The palate is succulent and honeyed with juicy pear and apricot, round and pillowy in texture, with lovely balance and an understated elegance that belies the warmth of the Languedoc. Isinglass-fined and filtered through clay, the winemaking is traditional but the result is modern and food-friendly.

About the Producer
Moulin de Gassac was created in the 1990s by Aimé and Véronique Guibert of Mas de Daumas Gassac as a separate label working with local Languedoc growers to produce accessible, everyday wines under close supervision from the Gassac team. The wines represent the approachable face of the same philosophy that produces the "Lafite of the Languedoc."
