Winemaker's Notes
Deep garnet color with brownish hues. Spiced ripe plum, hints of violet and red rose. Cassis and blueberry on the primary aromas with touches of tree moss. The secondary aromas display hints of toasted bread, followed on the tertiary ones by a delicate oakiness, soft spices and vanilla. The palate is Juicy red and black fruits, mulberry, liquorice with medium tannins. Surprisingly fresh and supple, this medium plus bodied Petit Verdot is the best friend of Peking duck dish, sautéed mushrooms, hard cheeses and even dark chocolate mousse.
