About this wine
A lightly sparkling Frizzante Chardonnay from 1701's organic estate in Franciacorta, made with indigenous yeast and no sulphur addition, a refreshing, everyday sparkling white that sits outside the DOCG ruleset and is all the more relaxed for it.
Serve well chilled at 6 to 8°C. Drink young and fresh.
Tasting notes
Pale straw gold with a gentle natural fizz. Fresh and floral on the nose, with apple, citrus, and a light herbal note. The palate is soft, clean, and easy, with a natural effervescence and a crisp, refreshing finish. Made without added sulphur and unfined and unfiltered, this is Franciacorta letting its hair down.
Goes with
Aperitif, light salads, soft cheeses, and charcuterie. A casual sparkling wine that works across the whole table.
