A pétillant naturel rosé from Calcarius blending Aleatico and Nero di Troia from Puglia's calcareous limestone plateau — lively and aromatic with red cherry, rose petal, and a refreshing natural fizz, from one of southern Italy's most exciting natural wine estates.
Tasting Notes
Bright rosé with fine natural bubbles. The Aleatico brings fragrant rose petal and red cherry aromatics; the Nero di Troia adds structure and a lively acidity. Dry and refreshing on the palate with a clean, fruit-forward character and an effervescent finish. The Roz (rose in dialect) is Calcarius at its most playful.

About the Producer
Calcarius is the natural wine project of Valentina Passalacqua, made from organic Falanghina, Nero di Troia, Bombino Bianco, and other indigenous varieties grown on the ancient calcareous limestone soils of the Murge plateau in northern Puglia. The estate name comes from the Latin for limestone, reflecting the character of the terroir in every wine.
