A poised, elegant Pouilly-Fume from organic old vine Sauvignon Blanc on flint and Kimmeridgian marl soils, with crisp citrus, gunflint smokiness, and the mineral precision that makes this appellation one of the Loire's finest.
Tasting Notes
Clear gold with green highlights. The nose is floral and precise, with aromas of citrus peel, grapefruit zest, green fruit, and a distinctive smoky, flinty minerality that is the hallmark of great Pouilly-Fume. On the palate it is full and round with good weight, a touch of aniseed, and a clean, crisp finish with a lingering mineral elegance.
