A pure Malvasia di Lipari from Azienda Agricola Caravaglio Antonino on Salina Island in the Aeolian Islands of Sicily, yellow with golden reflections, powerful and finely expressed, with fresh stone fruit and a long, rich mineral finish.

Tasting notes
Yellow with golden reflections. The nose opens with fresh fruit of yellow flesh alongside hints of Mediterranean flowers. The Malvasia di Lipari grape variety is pure and powerful here, with the acidity more muted than you might expect from an island wine and the finish long and rich. The name "Occhio di Terra" (eye of the earth) suits the wine's sense of deep, volcanic rootedness.
Goes with
Fish stew, seafood, aged cheese, and charcuterie. Also excellent as a serious aperitif.
