About this wine
A sweet Moscato Bianco from Bera Vittorio e Figli in Asti, Piedmont, organically farmed on steep calcareous marl slopes, fermented with indigenous yeast without fining, producing a delicate, aromatic, low-alcohol wine of white flowers, honey, and ripe stone fruit.
Serve well chilled at 6 to 8°C. Best enjoyed young and fresh.
Tasting notes
Straw yellow with brilliant clarity. Elegant aromas of white flowers, fresh grapes, orchard fruit, citrus zest, and delicate minerals open the nose. The palate is rich and naturally sweet, beautifully balanced by lively acidity, with honey, orange blossom, and ripe white fruit leading to a long, refreshing finish. The Ninét is Bera's traditional sweet Moscato, named for a local figure, and reflects decades of organic work on the hillside slopes of Canelli.
Goes with
Fruit tarts, Italian pastries, panna cotta, soft cheeses, and fresh fruit salads. Also a beautiful aperitif on warm afternoons.

Bera Vittorio e Figli is a small family estate in Neviglie in the Langhe hills of Piedmont, farming organically and producing wines across the Asti, Barbera, Dolcetto, and Moscato appellations. Their Moscato d'Asti is consistently regarded as one of the finest expressions of the Canelli denomination.
