Casamigos | Mezcal

George Clooney and Rande Gerber may have sold their five-year-old tequila company, Casamigos, to Diageo for $700 million (with the potential for another $300 million based on sales performance, natch), but they haven't lost their appetite for producing agave-based spirits.

The duo has expanded the Casamigos portfolio with its first mezcal, a 100% Espadin agave, Joven (unaged) bottling that was crafted in collaboration with a family that has made mezcal for five generations in Santiago Matatlán, Oaxaca, Mexico.

Tasting Notes
Through a rush of smoke and aromatic herbs, there are hints of cucumber, exotic fruit and white pepper.
