A Moscatel Dorado from Bodegas César Florido, made from crushed (not dried) Moscatel grapes fortified at 15% ABV and then aged 2 years in chestnut barrels using the traditional solera system — sweet, honeyed, and completely unfussy.
Tasting Notes
Sweet and honeyed with lots of grapey Moscatel fruit. The 2-year chestnut solera adds a gentle oxidative warmth without heaviness, and the result is never cloying. A fortified Moscatel with the light touch of a winery that knows its material well.

About the Producer
Bodegas César Florido is a small family estate in Chipiona, a coastal town in the Jerez zone directly on the Atlantic, where the ocean provides a cooling influence and perfect conditions for flor yeast development. Farming organically, they produce Fino, Moscatel, and other Jerez wines with exceptional character and no concession to commercial convenience. Their winery is literally 50 metres from the Atlantic.
