Description

A biodynamic Pinot Noir from old vines in Ammerschwihr, Alsace — aged in old Alsatian foudres with zero sulphur addition, producing a wine of delicate light ruby colour, precise red fruit aromatics, and the fine tannin and fresh acidity that defines great Pinot Noir.

Tasting Notes
Light ruby red with a translucent core. Delicate aromas of cherry, raspberry, wild strawberry, earthy undertones, and a touch of spice. Light to medium-bodied with bright natural acidity, fine tannins, and flavours of redcurrant, pomegranate, subtle smokiness, and forest floor. Elegant and expressive — an Alsatian Pinot that earns comparison with its Burgundian counterpart without trying to be Burgundy.
