Description

Despite the Riesling in the name, this Elsassisch is Bombisch! is actually a blend of Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris from Christian Binner's biodynamic Alsatian estate — a hazy ruby light red of cherry, raspberry, and cranberry, made with zero sulphur and co-fermented with native yeasts.

Tasting Notes
Light-bodied with a hazy ruby hue. An explosion of red fruits and citrus on the palate — cherry, raspberry, cranberry, violet, and black pepper — with a juicy freshness and just a touch of earthiness on the nose. Co-fermented Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris with native yeasts and no sulphur addition, unfiltered and unfined. "Elsassisch is Bombisch" means "Alsatian is Brilliant" — and this wine makes the case.
