It was initiated in 1966 for Fidel Castro himself and was made at the now world renowned El Laguito factory. The Cohiba siglo I is a perfect size to enjoy the luxurious flavours in a relatively short period of time. Initially it was only witnessed outside Cuba as gifts for heads of state and visiting diplomats.

The Siglo I is a short Habano with real depth. Sandalwood, leather and espresso make it a natural partner for a straight espresso, an aged Cuban rum, or a lightly sherried single malt. Its 40-minute format suits an aperitif hour rather than a long evening.
