Del Maguey Mezcal | Vida de San Luis del Río

Product Description:
Del Maguey Vida de San Luis del Río is an artisanal mezcal made from 100% organic Espadín agave, produced in the remote village of San Luis del Río, Oaxaca. Designed to be both accessible and high-quality, Vida is a go-to for mezcal cocktails while still offering complexity and character for sipping.

About the Producer:
Del Maguey was founded by artist and mezcal advocate Ron Cooper in 1995. The brand pioneered the concept of “Single Village Mezcal,” working directly with local Zapotec producers who use traditional methods that have been passed down for generations. Each expression reflects the unique terroir and heritage of its village of origin.

Tasting Notes:
Crystal clear with a light straw hue. On the nose, expect roasted agave, tropical fruit, honey, and a touch of smoke. The palate is smooth and full-bodied with flavors of ginger, cinnamon, banana, and tangerine, all wrapped in a gentle smokiness. Finishes warm and earthy with lingering citrus and spice.
