An organic Entre-deux-Mers from Chateau Deville's estate between the Garonne and Dordogne rivers, blending Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc from sand, silt, and clay-limestone soils into a well-balanced Bordeaux white of genuine character.
Best enjoyed young.
Tasting notes
Pale gold. The grapefruit tanginess of the Sauvignon is nicely complemented by the more textural, vinous quality of the Semillon. Fresh on the nose with citrus and white flower notes; medium bodied on the palate with good acidity and a clean finish.
Goes with
Fish stew, coquilles Saint-Jacques, mushroom pasta, and grilled white fish. A classic Bordeaux white food pairing.
