Domaine Clavel | Côtes du Rhône "Regulus" Red

Regulus is named after the brightest star in the constellation of Leo. A southern Rhône blend built on Grenache, with the garrigue herb character that comes from the scrubland surrounding the vineyards.

Tasting Notes
Deep ruby red. Vibrant aromas of ripe cherry, blackberry and hints of garrigue herbs. Smooth and approachable on the palate, with juicy red fruit, soft tannins and subtle spice, finishing round and balanced. Garrigue is the wild Mediterranean scrub of thyme, rosemary and juniper that grows between the vines in the southern Rhône, and it shows up reliably in the wines.
