The flagship Pouilly-Fumé of Domaine des Berthiers, an old-vine Sauvignon Blanc grown on the rare Silex flint terroir at the foot of the hill of Saint-Andelain, and named after Evelyne Dagueneau.
Tasting Notes
Exuberant ripe fruit leads, with pineapple, grapefruit and orange, framed by ten months of ageing on fine lees and partial new oak (around 30% of the blend). Concentrated candied-fruit flavours, real complexity and an elegant, mineral expression of the Silex terroir.
