Drew Estate | Liga Privada No. 9
✓ Premium handmade cigar
✓ Rich, bold Nicaraguan and Honduran filler
✓ Dark, oily Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper
✓ Full bodied
✓ Originally blended for Drew Estate's own humidors
Available Variants:
Corona Doble (7" x 54)
The long format of the line, giving the blend room to unfold slowly. Dark cocoa and espresso lead, with black pepper and leather building through the middle and a sweet earthiness underneath. A cigar for an unhurried evening.
Flying Pig (4.15" x 60)
A short, stout figurado prized by aficionados and made in limited runs. The same full bodied No. 9 blend packed into a hefty 60 ring gauge, delivering intense cocoa, espresso, spice and leather in a slow burning, flavour packed smoke.
About the Producer:
Drew Estate was founded in 1996 by Jonathan Drew and Marvin Samel, and built La Gran Fabrica Drew Estate in Esteli, Nicaragua into one of the most inventive factories in the industry. Liga Privada translates as private blend, and the name is literal: No. 9 was created for the founders' own humidors, not for sale. Dozens of blends were trialled before this one, and it only reached the public after visitors kept asking what Jonathan was smoking.
