In the cigar world, attaching the words private blend to a cigar line is an indication that the smoke is truly something special. Liga Privada translates as Private Stock, and Drew Estate's Liga Privada T52 was blended over two years to stand beside the much heralded No. 9 in the same humidor. The Flying Pig is its best known limited format, a short, stout figurado with a curled tail that is as awkward to make as it is sought after.

Where the No. 9 is dark and earthy, the T52 is sharper and more peppery, built around a stalk cut Habano wrapper that gives it an extra edge. Black pepper and spice lead, with espresso, dark cocoa and leather filling in behind and a creamy texture throughout. Full bodied and dense, and the wide ring keeps it burning slow and cool.
