VIKING HEART celebrates the character of Orkney, Highland Park’s remote island home once ruled by the Vikings. Matured predominantly in first-fill, sherry-seasoned American and European oak casks with a touch of refill for balance, this 15 Year Old showcases the distillery’s signature heather-honey sweetness, gentle peat smoke, and lively citrus. Bottled at 44% ABV and presented in a ceramic decanter, it honours their Norse ancestry and the exacting standards set in 1798 by founder Magnus Eunson.

Tasting's Notes

Nose: brown sugar, orange oil and cinnamon with a soft, vegetal waft of peat. Palate: heather honey and gentle smoke layered with vanilla, treacle and lemon zest, developing creamy sponge-cake notes. Finish: long and warming with spicy cinnamon and lingering smoky embers.
