Jameson | 18 Years

One of the most decorated whiskeys Jameson makes. A blend of three signature distillates matured in hand selected American and European oak for a minimum of eighteen years, then blended and given a final marrying period of at least six months in first fill American ex bourbon barrels. That last step is what gives it the extra complexity and polish that separates it from the rest of the core range.

Tasting Notes

Rich fruit and nut on the nose with good weight and positive resinous oak, layered with aromatic oils, orange, apricot and dried fruit over a touch of toffee. Soft and gentle on the palate with a velvety feel, golden syrup and fresh buttercream meeting crisp green apple and warming nutmeg and cinnamon. A drop of water draws out the sherry influence, turning it toward chocolate and bourbon biscuit. Long and mellow to finish.
