Montecristo is the best known and probably most appreciated brand of Habanos throughout the world. It forms the benchmark against which many Habanos smokers judge other brands. The name comes from the hero of Alexandre Dumas' novel The Count of Monte Cristo, a firm favourite when read aloud by the Lector to the Torcedores at the factory where the brand was founded in 1935.

Tasting Notes
Smoking Time (Average): 35 Minutes
The Regata is immaculately constructed, hand rolled in a colorado wrapper and finished with a neat tip. This is likely the most intense cigar of the Open range, with dark rich flavours of wood and coffee mixed with a decadent nuttiness and a touch of honey. A spicy note appears in the second half, along with some floral tones.
