Alma del Cielo means soul of the sky, and the name is literal. The heart of the blend is grown at Finca San Julian in Condega at more than 3,500 feet above sea level, making it Plasencia's first high elevation cigar. The farm once belonged to the grandmother of Nestor Andres Plasencia and was sold in 1961, then rediscovered by the family decades later. Cooler mountain air and longer sun exposure give the leaf a character the family could not get anywhere else.

Smoking Time (Average): Boreal 60-75 Minutes, Celeste 45-55 Minutes
Fresh tobacco and pepper on the cold draw, with dark fruit and plum underneath. The smoke itself is softer and more refined than most Nicaraguan puros at this level, running through marzipan, honey and nougat, with cedar and orange zest lifting the middle and a gentle ginger spice on the finish. Medium bodied and beautifully balanced, with no single note dominating.
Choosing Your Size
Boreal is the toro, a chunky 6 1/8 inches by 54 that burns slowly and lets the full flavour arc unfold from marzipan through to the ginger finish. Celeste is the robusto, shorter and slightly slimmer, which concentrates the same blend into a brisker smoke with a firmer, fuller edge.
